Why our rates are flat
Most Homer water taxis charge you more if the destination is farther — Grewingk one price, Grace Ridge another, Halibut Cove another. We think that pricing punishes the trips that are actually the best experience.
So we made every scheduled destination the same: $85 round trip. Pick the trailhead that matches your hiking pace, not your budget.

Are your rates the same for every destination?
Yes. Every water-taxi run — Grewingk Glacier, Saddle Trail, Grace Ridge, Halibut Cove, or Jakolof Bay — is the same flat rate: $85 round trip, $42.50 each way for adults, and $65 round trip / $32.50 each way for children under 12.
How much does it cost to bring a dog on the water taxi?
Pets ride free. Dogs on leash are welcome on the M/V Inlet Express, both in the heated cabin and out on the back deck.
Do you charge extra for gear, kayaks, or camping equipment?
Standard hiking gear, day packs, and camping gear travel free with a paid passenger. Kayaks and larger loads may require a custom charter — call (907) 630-1252 for a quote.
Is a deposit required to book?
Booking through inletadventures.com reserves your seat and holds your date. Cancellations for weather or safety reasons are never charged.
Do you offer group discounts?
For groups of 6 or more, call (907) 630-1252 — we can quote a private charter that’s often less per person than individual seats on scheduled runs.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. Alaska water-taxi trips are not subject to sales tax, and Inlet Adventures does not add booking fees, fuel surcharges, or park-access fees to the fare.
